Issue: There are more standing commuters than there are sitting ones. Standing in an uncomfortable stationery position with a heavy bag on your back for hours on end every day and having to balance causes a lot of back pain as well as other health problems for many. As well as this, there are many injuries from people who get hurt when the train jolts or moves in an unexpected position.
Solution: Inspired by a standing ride from the theme park at Southport Pleasureland, this train will have rows of standing spaces with back support and the gravitational pull used in these rides could be used to hold these commuters in place. This will save space by reducing the need for seats and will mean healthier commuters all round, allowing the train to travel at a much faster speed as well.
